He used to say:
"She is a woman of many passions..."
I was born and raised in Perú, and I have loved art for as long as I can remember: Drawing, Photography, Dancing, Bartending, are just a few of my countless passions.
Art, for me, is the purest manifestation of our feelings and emotions. It has shown me the essence of the human being, their uniqueness and beauty in an indescribable way. Since childhood, my passion for connecting with others and learning from their stories has been constant. Through art, I find the freedom to share my learnings without fear of judgment, with the hope of contributing to someone's life, in the same way that others contribute to mine.

In 2015, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communications, specializing in Marketing and Advertising, from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, giving my father a very cherished gift: my diploma. To earn my father's pride in his investment, I joined a marketing agency but never stopped staying true to myself. During my free time, I immersed myself in photography, taking on part-time jobs and working on personal projects that truly resonated with me, all while professionally dancing Salsa—an Afro-Latin American rhythm that I still love to this day. These experiences led me to reconsider my career path.
Living off art in my country seemed impossible to me at that time, often resulting in setbacks and failures. The support of my parents was crucial for my next decision. My mom, the heart and soul of our family, is an extraordinary artist who passed down her passion for art in all its forms to me. From her, I learned the true meaning of unconditional love, generosity, and the importance of empathy. My father, a doctor by vocation and passionate businessman, instilled in me the courage to always aim high with a smile, taught me about compassion, but above all, to fervently believe in my ideals. With this unbeatable duo backing me up, I always had the assurance that, no matter how crazy my dreams might be, they would always be there for me!
In 2016, I arrived in New York City with just a suitcase full of big dreams, and ever since, I've been turning them into reality. I fulfilled my dream of dancing on a New York stage along incredible salsa dancers. Then, I stumbled upon my next passion and, after a lot of effort, I became a bartender at my dream speakeasy bar: 'The Raines Law Room'. But the story doesn't end here. Remember photography?...
In 2020, I delved into the world of micro portraits/photorealism when one of my favorite human beings, my abuelito, reunited with the love of his life. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to bid him a proper farewell. Intent on paying tribute to him in a meaningful way when visiting his grave, I finally found a way to always carry his memory with me.

All my life, I've loved black and white photos, but there was one in particular that captivated me. My grandparents on their wedding day, looking at each other as if nothing else mattered. Their story was something else; they loved each other until the last of their days. That photo is proof to me that true love really exists!
The long-awaited day finally arrived. After an extensive tattoo session, there they were, on my forearm, in black and white, measuring 2.5 by 4.5 inches. Their eyes reflecting the same love and joy as in the original photo, now on my own skin. Emotion overwhelmed me, I was unable to describe in words what I felt. As I reflected on the significance of that moment, my father's words resonated deeply within me, now finally coming to life and making perfect sense:
"YES, PAPÁ, YOU WERE RIGHT! I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH YOU HOW HAPPY I AM TO BE THAT WOMAN OF MANY PASSIONS! I WISH I COULD TELL YOU THAT I DID IT! THAT I FINALLY FOUND A WAY TO INTEGRATE ALL MY PASSIONS WITH MY PROFESSION... BUT, AS YOU WOULD SAY, PAPÁ, LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN, BUT WHAT IT IS. AND RIGHT NOW, MY BIGGEST WISH IS TO KEEP ALIVE THOSE BEINGS, THOSE MEMORIES, THOSE LEARNINGS; THROUGH MORE STORIES LIKE OURS, THROUGH MY ART: THROUGH MY TATTOOS..."
